Baba Ijesha: His Case Get Complicated As Federal Government Steps In

Baba Ijesha’s case of defiling a 14-Yr-Old girl gets more complicated as the chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), a commission under the Federal Government Of Nigeria has gotten the wind of the matter.

In the past few days, heated arguments occupied social media amongst entertainers in Nigeria as they expressed divergent opinions on the matter. Some of these entertainers share their sympathetic opinions to Baba Ijesha’s plight while some other people are drumming support in the fight for justice for the defiled minor.

However, the Chairman of NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has reacted to the incident in a thread on her official Twitter handle, described the act by Baba Ijesha as “despicable”.

Dabiri-Erewa demanded justice for the minor and support for the victim’s foster mother, the popular Comedian, Princess. Noting that Baba Ijesha’s plea should not be accepted and that maximum sentence must be passed on him.
