CABINET RESHUFFLE: Makinde Sacks Chief Of Staff, 17 Commissioners (see full list)

The Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi makinde, on Tuesday, after the state executive council meeting, announced the dissolution of the state’s Executive Council with effect from 30th June, 2021 and orders the most senior staff to take charge in their respective ministries.

Governor Makinde, according to a press statement by his chief press secretary, Taiwo Adisa made available to 9JAFOCUS expressed the gratitude of the government and the people of Oyo State to the affected Council members, wished them well in their future endeavours. The governor also praised the commitment and dedication of the council members to the cause of taking Oyo State from Poverty to Prosperity.

The Chief of Staff: Chief Bisi Ilaka

1). Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources: Dr Abdullateef Idowu Oyeleke

2). Commissioner for Budget and Planning: Barr. Nìyí Farinto

3). Commissioner for Special Duties: Hon. Mrs. Funmilayo Orisadeyi

4). Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology: Barr. Olasunkanmi Olaleye

  1. Commissioner for Justice: Prof Oyelowo Oyewo
  2. Commissioner for Lands, Housing & Urban Development: Barr. Abdurahman Abdulraheem
  3. Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters: Chief Bayo Lawal
