JUST IN: The Popular Nollywood Actor, Yomi Fabiyi Lead Massive Protest To Panti Police Station Over Baba Ijesha’s Detention (watch video)
The Popular Nollywood Actor, Yomi Fabiyi led a massive protest to Panti Police Station, against the continue detention of his colleague, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as (Baba Ijesha), who was alleged for child molestation.
9JAFOCUS gathered, according to the live broadcast of the protest by Yomi Fabiyi, During the protest, Fabiyi and other protesters marched from Casino Bus Stop to Panti Police Station on Wednesday morning, demanding the release of Baba Ijesha from detention on bail, pending the case will be charged to court for hearing.
In the live broadcast video on facobook handle of yomi Fabiyi, the protesters were seen carrying placards and banners with different inscriptions such as “denial of bail in case of bailable offence is human rights violation”, “Nigeria police, please allow the law to dictate for you, not Iyabo Ojo, Princess and co”, “release Baba Ijesha now” and “Nigeria police must respect human rights and honour bail for bailable offence”, “Social Media should not dictate for Police, Baba Ijesha Case is a bailable offence.”
Fabiyi, who has been against Iyabo Ojo and Princess using a minor as a bait, has been asking for the release of Baba Ijesha, and described the continuous detention of Baba Ijesha as “illegal detention and violation of human rights”.
